Our Staycation

We have been looking forward to this Saturday for a few weeks...  A Saturday when we had no plans, no running around town to do, and just lots of time on our hands.  We have been calling today our "staycation."  Matty was so excited when he heard this and said, "We're going on vacation?!"  While it would be wonderful to go on a vacation, that just isn't in the cards for us this year.  But our little staycation today made Matty just as happy as any vacation could! 

We had the pool setup, the water table full, a sprinkler in the yard, music in the background, a sunny day, and plenty of shade to keep us cool.  I didn't get many pictures because we were soaked most of the time.  I've already ruined one camera after it was "dropped" in the pool, so I had to be cautious with it today.

Matty and Daddy cooked us dinner on their grills..hotdogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers and corn.  It was such a great day!
