Old Friends = Good Times

Mike's childhood friend, Jim, and his beautiful fiancee, Bethany, came to visit us this weekend! They came all the way from Norwich, CT (or is it Norwalk?! :). We haven't seen them since our wedding - almost 4 years ago! We had so much fun, and of course, Matty adores them!

Matty hosted a bbq for 3 of his friends on Saturday - yes, there were 3 one year olds and 1 ten month old at our house! It was wild!

15 Month Appointment

Matty’s 15 month doctor appointment was yesterday, and everything went great. Matty was a great patient and had a good time tugging on the stethoscope and playing with the Dr’s “tools”. He is 23 lbs, 4 ozs (27%) and 31.25 inches (61%). He only got one shot and took it like a champ – didn’t even shed a tear. Afterwards, we all went out to Friendly’s for dinner to celebrate the perfect little 15 month old!

From Lobsters to Crabs...

Since we had the rest of the week off, we decided to take a trip down to Annapolis for the afternoon. The weather was great, and we saw some awesome boats!

Maine Part III - Bar Harbor

The last leg of the trip was visiting Bar Harbor, ME. It is a fun, quaint little resort town on Mt. Desert Island.

Having ice cream at Ben & Bill's - where, by the way, I believe is the only place that has lobster ice cream! It is butter flavored ice cream with chunks of real Maine lobster - um, yuck.
