It's been a tough week. Thank God for these two little kiddies who make us laugh and bring joy to us everyday.
It has also been a tough week because it was the first week of school. Matty has never had a problem going to school - he went all last year and to camp all summer. But for some reason, he had a difficult time adjusting this year. We had a lot of tears at drop-off, and all he really wanted was for Gracie to stay in class with him. He loves her so, so much. They spend so much time together that it was tough to leave each other for a few hours.
Matty was so super brave and strong though. And his teachers are so sweet that they were very comforting to him when he was missing his family. By Friday, there were no more tears! I asked him on the way to school if he was going to cry. He said, "I might cry just a little bit, but I'll be ok, Mommy." So sweet! And he was ok! We are so proud of him and are excited to see him grow, learn, and make new friends this year!

ICEEs after a Target shopping trip is always an activity to look forward to!

This picture cracks me up. Gracie Girl walking around with a chainsaw while walking her baby.

Lots of sidewalk chalk this week since the weather has been perfect!

The things daddies do for their daughters. Gracie found a box of her accessories in the garage (don't ask me why they were in the garage!) She put every single one of them on except for the gray bow. Gracie thinks that gray is for boys, so she insisted that Daddy wear the gray headband. I swear, I don't know where she gets this stuff from!

Yet another Target shopping trip. I often get asked while we are out if Gracie and Matty are twins. I think you can see in this picture why! They look so much alike.
