Happy Halloween!

The little firefighter and his dalmatian had a very busy and fun Halloween!  Nanny and Pa came over to have dinner and trick-or-treat with them!  Matty was super excited and got away with eating WAY too much sugar!

This is about as good as a photo of Matty and Gracie together gets...

Sugar Coma!  And yes, Daddy is wearing Gracie's Halloween bow in  his hair???

Another Fun Visit to Longwood Gardens

It doesn't get much better than Grandma, Longwood Gardens, and pumpkins!

Matty was so disappointed to see that his favorite fountain had no water in it!  I love the look on his face, and I love that Longwood drains it after summer because undoubtedly Matty would have been splashing despite the cool temps.

Happy (Early) Halloween!

*EDIT* Gracie & Daddy made the newspaper today!  You can see their picture here.

Matty & Gracie got all dressed up and went to the Newark Halloween Parade today!  The parade was full of ghouls, goblins, fairies, and all kinds of other crazy costumes!

Our little fireman with his dalmatian!

Matty made friends with a little fairy in the park.  After he followed her around for a few minutes, she decided to break the ice and said, "I'm a fairy."  Matty responded, "I'm a fireman," and that is how their friendship began.  She was a little older, so she showed him around the place :)

Matty trying to move in on some kids' candy.

Aw... what a cute dalmatian!  The News Journal took her picture, so check the paper tomorrow!

We stopped by Aetna Fire House on the way back to the car.  Unfortunately it started out fun, but ended badly.  Matty was posing for a picture while sitting on the front bumper of the fire truck when some idiot came up and rang the huge bell right next to Matty.  It scared him so bad that he jumped off the bumper and had a pretty nasty fall.

Happy Birthday Bobby!

We spent today at our cousin Bobby's 50th birthday party and had a great time!  Somehow I didn't manage to get a picture of the guest of honor.  Maybe because we had our hands full with two little monsters... oops, i mean, sweeties.  Matty was a little party animal, as usual.  Gracie had a tough time warming up to the crowd and wanted to stick close to mommy and daddy.

We had lots of fun.  Thanks for a great party, Steven and Bobby!  Many more happy birthdays, Bobby!

Give Matty a party, and he's a happy guy!

Good Times at Grandma's

Today we went for our weekly visit to Grandma and Papa's house, and we had some good times to say the least!  We did our usual activities like played cars, "fixed" things, and ran races.  But we also went on a little outing to Ronny's Garden World.  I went to Ronny's Christmas Wonderland every year while I was growing up, and we took Matty and Gracie today for their first time!  We really just went looking for Fall goodies, but we had to check out the Christmas decor while there.  Matty was amazed by all the lights and reindeer and Santas and trains especially!

Loving on Gracie Girl and her Uggs :)

After Ronny's we headed back to Grandma's for some backyard fun!

Matty always takes time to smell the flowers

Matty refers to himself as a "Working Man" these days since he has some new tools.
Gracie Girl got a new pink car to zoom around Grandma's in!

Where'd the Weekend Go?

The Moller Bed & Breakfast was open this weekend as we welcomed our friends Jim & Bethany from CT. As always we had SO MUCH FUN, but I have no idea where the weekend went. We are all the good kind of exhausted as we unwind from a great weekend! I only took a couple of pictures this weekend when we went to the jam packed Milburn Orchards yesterday.

A Perfect Fall Day

It was sunny, breezy, and warm. We walked while Matty rode his bike to the park to play soccer. Then Matty heard cheering at another park nearby, so we went over and watched two softball games.

We made chili in our crockpot and cornbread muffins from scratch. The Eagles and Phillies are playing, we have Dogfish Punkin Ale in the fridge, and tomorrow is a holiday for Daddy.

A Perfect Fall Day.

Matty is a great soccer player. He's got some skills to be proud of.
