Just Playin'

Just a couple cute pictures from today. Gracie got to play with her toy purse for the first time. Matty was all over it and insisted on wearing her bracelet that came with the purse. We are in for some real scraps in our house.

But bracelets and purses aside, Matty is most happy when he is playin' cars...

Some Favorites

Here are some of my favorites from our recent photo shoot with Erin Farrell. We are so excited about them and are looking forward to doing a little decorating around our house with updated pictures of Matty and of our new baby girl...

Real Race Cars!

The things I do for the little boy that I love... Never in a million years would I have imagined that I would be driving to Dover on the Friday of race weekend to go parking lot hopping on Rt. 13 in search of the coolest race car. But that's what we did today, and it was all worth it! We are not Nascar fans (not that there is anything wrong with it), but our boy really loves cars so we were fans for a day.

Matty got to sit in an old race car!

Matty was in awe of the Verizon car. The guy even gave him a Hot Wheels style replica of this exact car!

And here's a couple pictures from hanging out at Grandma's ...

Matty is supposed to be taking a nap up in his room. But I am watching him on my little video monitor laying in bed checking out his new mini race car. What a day for a little boy who LOVES cars!

Gracie Girl is getting so much hair that I have to sweep it to the side with a barrette to keep it out of her eyes!

Anymore Firetrucks?

Today we went to the Delaware Fireman's Parade. Matty saw so many fire trucks (we watched fire trucks for hours it seemed), and when it was over he said, "Anymore fire trucks?" The kid loves trucks, cars, boats, airplanes, mail trucks, and all things that move - the louder the better. The parade went right past Grandma and Papa's house so that made it extra special.

Before the parade started we went to check out the trucks all lined up.

Matty charmed a nice fireman from Brandywine Hundred and got to sit in his truck!

This was the highlight of Matty's day!

And Gracie sat back and took it all in. She was fascinated by the lights and all the people.

Sitting right outside Grandma & Papa's house

Matty waved at every truck that passed...

Matty is so tired of me taking pictures... he will appreciate it someday

Are You Ready For Some Football?

Matty & Gracie Girl were all geared up early this morning for the first game of the year (and Gracie's first ever)!
