We've been sick - real sick. Matty's had bronchitis. Gracie's had bronchitis twice in 2 months and double ear infections. Both of the kids were knocked out like I have never seen them before. I felt so bad for them, and we have seen our pediatrician so much that Gracie is on a first name basis with the staff there.
But enough complaining! Everyone is doing better now! Yesterday was the first day that they both felt good in a while, so we headed out for some fresh air at a new park.
They had a great time, and they had tons of energy to let out. Matty decided that he would attempt a rock wall. I was impressed by his courageousness, so I encouraged him to keep climbing. When he made it to the top, my heart started beating like crazy. He looked so small on top of the big rock. He thought it was funny that I started to freak out, so he teased me by standing up and doing a little dance. He then climbed down with a little help. Our boy is getting to be so big!
Matty and Gracie love going down twisty slides together! I tried to get a good picture, but my timing was all off!
Miss Thang. She's a handful. She's enter the terrible twos with gusto! Almost everything is a catastrophe! But she's still sweet as anything!

Gracie's Two Year Check-up
Gracie had her two year well visit today, and she we got great news - our little girl is healthy and perfect! She is 28.4 pounds (75%) and 35.1 inches (80%).
The visit was definitely one of the more entertaining doctor visits that we've had. Gracie is very chatty - she never stops talking. So we were going through all the milestones with her doctor, and Gracie asked for my phone. She is an iPhone whiz - she knows how to find her games and my photo albums. She found the photo album, and pulled up a picture of this tree:
That is our egg tree that we decorated a few days ago. She then holds the phone up and says, "Look Doctor! Look at my egg tree!". It was so clear, and she said it just as he was asking about her verbal skills. He was quite impressed with Gracie Girl's verbal skills and she continued to chat with him the remainder of the visit.
When the doctor went to "check the plumbing," Gracie told him, "my butt hurts." Haha! Thankfully that was not so clear, so I don't think he caught on.
She got one shot and it was a mild one. She didn't cry, but she did call the nurse who administered it "a bad guy." She gets that from her brother...
So all in all, it was a great visit. We are so blessed to have such a healthy, funny, beautiful, smart, vibrant little girl!
Here are just a few sweet pictures from my phone. These were taking at the DAFB museum which these kids absolutely LOVE.
