This weekend we were at the beach again - this time for our portrait session with Erin Farrell Photography. She did a wonderful job capturing some beautiful photos of my family that I will cherish forever. Although we still have to wait a few days for all the images, here are a few teasers...

We stopped off to see Grandma and Papa on the way home from our weekend getaway! Did I mention that Matty is a real walker now?! He's into everything!!!

Memorial Day Weekend - Part I

Matty kicked off the summer in Ocean City for Memorial Day Weekend! Last year he spent a lot of time at the beach just lounging since he was so tiny. This year - a totally different story! He was playing in the sand, dipping in the water and riding on the rides at Jolly Roger! (Of course, I took a ton of pictures, so that's why there's a few posts!)

Ok, for fun - here's a couple pictures of Matty last Memorial Day weekend in Ocean City! So cute and so little! He was only 6 weeks old and this was his first trip to the beach.

Matty's in OC and loving it! We had to drag him out of the water yesterday - it was SO cold! More photos to come when we get home!

Flower Power

Matty walked around the nursery today helping pick out flowers for the front yard. He's so hard to take pictures of now - too busy, too fast and won't look the camera!

Yes, his shorts are a little big - but SO CUTE!

So Much to Brag About...

I thought I would share some of Matty’s recent little (and big!) milestones. We are amazed everyday at how much he has learned in the past 13 months! He is such a little smarty pants. Get ready – I am about to shamelessly brag about Matty and all of his awesomeness…

Words Finally! Matty’s vocab consists of mama (of course), dada, nana (so I’ve heard :) ) doggie and snacks! I’m sure he has tried to say some others, but I can’t for the life of me make them out yet.

Stacking Blocks! Much of our weeknight family fun time is Mike and I competing on who can make the taller or more attractive tower with Matty’s wooden blocks. After weeks of Matty knocking our towers down (with his head), he has started to build his own towers by gingerly stacking the blocks himself.

Tarzan! Matty has recently learned to take his own shirt off – watch out ladies :) Once his shirt is off, he makes fists and beats on his chest (sorta like Tarzan). It is pretty hilarious – especially when he doesn’t even have his eyes open in the morning yet, but he still manages to beat on his chest.

Walking! He’s getting better and better every day. He can take about 10 – 15 steps on his own now. He is even letting go on his own and making turns. He is a very confident little boy – we’re in for trouble soon!

A Lucky Mom

Just a quick note after a fun, beautiful and busy Mother's Day weekend. I am so very lucky to be mom to the cutest, sweetest, funniest, smartest, most perfect (I can go on and on...) little boy ever. And, I am so very lucky to have the most perfect mom ever too! I pray everyday that I can be to Matty what my mom always has been to me. Happy Mother's Day!

Meet Cooper

Matty went to the Build-A-Bear Workshop today where he made his new friend, Cooper. As all members of the Moller household do, Cooper quickly assumed a nickname - "Coop". Matty fell in love with him immediately. He wouldn't give Coop up to the bear lady to be stuffed. Eventually we talked him into it, but not without a big pouty lip hanging out. After Coop was stuffed to Matty's liking, he kissed his heart and put it inside him. Coop is a Phillies fan too - just like Matty. And now for what I love so much about Coop - he is 100% machine washable and is asthma and allergy friendly!
