ROAR!!

We expected today to be a rainy day, so we headed to a local museum, Delaware Museum of Natural History. Matty had a great time and was walking around ROAR-ing at all the animals.

After the museum, we went to Woodside Creamery for some ice cream!

Big Waves, Hot Sand and Matty went to Seacrets!

Summer is winding down, but the hot beach weekends are still in full force! It was HOT, and the waves were HUGE (thanks Hurricane Bill)! Matty has liked the water all summer, but he wasn't into this time. He went to get his feet wet, and a wave took him out. Hopefully he's not scarred for life!

Matty's First Trip to Seacrets! We went for dinner - who knew that Seacrets serves food?! We really did have a good time! Can't tell from the picture below - I think there was just too much going on!

Finger (Body) Painting Anyone?

We broke out the finger paints today! It was just too messy to bring the camera out during the action, but here is the aftermath. I do realize it could be a lot worse, but this is bad for me. I can't stand dirty hands - I better get used to it with this boy though!

So Big!

Just a few pictures to show you how big Matty is now! He has grown a full inch and gained over a pound since his last doctor appointment on July 13th! He better slow down!!

Move Over Baby Toys!

We finally put away some of Matty's baby toys and upgraded to some big boy toys! We went to Ikea on Saturday and got a table/chairs set and a tent! The tent was not on our shopping list, but it was only 10 bucks and causes complete silliness, so we had to have it! Here are some pics. And yes, that is REAL wood paneling in the background - don't be jealous :)

Lovin' on Ravioli

We had take-out from our favorite little Italian restaurants tonight, Cafe Valentina (formerly Rosauri's). Matty has had their pizza many times, but tonight was his first taste of their yummy pasta. I think he liked it!
