Gracie Girl's Fashion Files

Gracie has a fabulous wardrobe. And now that she is getting bigger, she is starting to fit into clothes other than sleepers. So, I thought I would start a series of posts called "Gracie Girl's Fashion Files" which will chronicle her exceptional taste in fashion. What better way to kick it off but with her babyGap peasant top and sailor jeans.

Baby Legwarmers

Baby legwarmers are pretty much the cutest things ever. Gracie looked so cute in her Babylegs that I had to snap a few pictures today!

Lovin' from big brother

Matty's "cheese" face

Priceless

This like never, ever happens so I wanted to remember it with a picture :) How sweet. And it lasted about 10 minutes til Crazy Brady started mouthing off at the same neighbors he sees everyday... sigh...

Fun at the Park

Here are some cute pictures of our fun afternoon at the park with Grandma!

Gracie slept the whole time. Look at her cheeks!

My New Best Friend

Gracie is a real lover and cuddlebug, but she is also a nap fighter! I thought newborns were supposed to sleep all the time. Well, not this little lady. We have had two days so far in her short little life that she has completely fought off all daytime naps. Those days were not fun. About mid-way through the second sleepless day, I knew I had to add something to our ridiculous collection of baby gear. We have everything baby related that anyone could ever imagine. So, what else could we possibly need? A little darling called the Fisher Price My Little Lamb Cradle Swing, and it is my new best friend! Gracie LOVES it, and is finally happy laying in something other than my arms! She sleeps peacefully in it during the day while I run around the house like crazy trying to get stuff done. Here are a couple pictures of her in it. She's not sleeping in these pictures, but she is a happy girl!

Cheese and Check Out That Neck!

This is what happens when you tell our little goofball to say "cheese!"

And check out those neck muscles! She is getting stronger everyday!

Blondie and First Smiles!

Gracie is a little blondie with a lot of hair, but it doesn't show up in most pictures. This picture shows off the beginnings of her blonde locks!

I caught a couple of Gracie's smiles on camera yesterday! Isn't she looking fabulous in her pink seersucker?!

Trouble

Carter came to visit Friday night and brought all kinds of fun with him :) He and Matty are quite a pair. They did a great job at destroying the playroom in 1 minute. They also busted some impressive moves!

Dance Party!

Carter's got some sick moves - I think he got that from mom!

And the little lady was just taking it all in...

Deja Vu

Look at these two cuties! Miss Gracie's picture was taken on 4/9/10 and Matty's on 5/5/08. If it weren't for their different outfits and the pink bow, I think they look exactly alike!

Gracie is ONE Month Old!

Gracie Girl has already been around for one month! Time has flown by, and Gracie has grown so much! She is becoming more alert (and sleeping less!) everyday, and has even surprised us with a few real smiles already! She went for her visit with Dr. Olivieri today, and she is still "perfect!" She weighed in a 9 lbs, 6 ozs (75%) and is 21.5 in (90%) long!

Matty's 2 Year Doctor Appointment

Matty had his two year doctor's appointment today! He was 27 pounds (5oth percentile), almost 36 inches (80th percentile), and his big head is still in the 70th percentile! Wow, he has grown! He got a perfect check-up, and during the exam Matty told the doctor about his trip on the choo choo yesterday! Dr. Olivieri even complimented Matty on being so confident and self-assured! Next appointment is at 3 years old!

All Aboard Matty's Birthday Train!

Happy 2nd Birthday Matty! Today we took Matty on the Strasburg Railroad for his first choo choo ride and he loved it - big surprise! Right after boarding, he was a little freaked out by the loud whistle and bell, but he quickly got comfortable and enjoyed his ride to through Amish Country to Paradise, PA. He was so cute (and he knew it!) in his overalls, engineer hat, and bandana. Gracie is still a little young for the railroad, but we will go again - I'm sure Matty won't mind :)

Happy Easter!

We celebrated a beautiful Easter Sunday today with a very handsome Matty and his fabulous little sister Gracie! Matty found his huge Easter basket this morning then went out with Daddy to get me a pretty Easter flower. Then we headed over to Nan and Pa's for a delicious Easter dinner and fun!

Matty looked quite dapper in his tie!

And Gracie Girl modeling her first dress - she is quite the model even at only 3 weeks old!

Digging into Easter Goodies!

What a good helper! These pictures make me so happy :) If he keeps this up, it won't be long before he's got chores to do around the house! YAY!
