...we go to the beach! Mike had to go to NYC for a few days for work, so we packed up the minivan, picked up Grandma, and headed for Ocean City! The kids had a blast playing in the sand eventhough it was a bit cool. There weren't many people around, so we practically had the town to ourselves!
| Gracie was a little baby the last time she was in the sand, so this was all new to her. She loved it! |
| Matty was very serious the whole time. He was a working man on a mission! |
| Gracie loved the sand, but she loves her Grandma more! |
| Matty played his first Skee-Ball game of the season |
| And Gracie took some phone calls. Gracie's favorite toys are definitely phones right now. She holds them to her ears, says, "Hi," and then babbles on and on! |
| Nanny and Pa left new toys at the "beach home" (as Matty calls it). Lucky kids! |
| Matty is such a sand snob. He got all mad that there were rocks in this sand..haha! |
| Gracie is rocking the Justin Bieber hairstyle right now. The girl's hair grows like a weed...time for another trip to the salon soon! |
| Of course we had 3 buckets and they fight over this one... |
| Cute tiny feet covered in sand! |
| Gracie was such a good sport and let us put her in the hole we dug. |
| Matty is so serious about his work in the sand! |
| Matty also got to play his first round of mini golf during our trip. He started out good... |
| Then it turned into a game of soccer... |
A blurry, but cute, picture of Gracie loving on her baby that Nanny and Pa left for her.
So we survived our first "Grandma/Mommy" trip with two kids and had a lot of fun! There is no place like home though... and we were so happy to have Daddy back!
